From the Supplement (Vol. V)

N. sericea has been reintroduced from South Korea and there are now young plants at Wakehurst Place, Sussex, and in other collections. It is not reliably hardy ouside the milder parts, and certainly needs a sheltered position. For plants in the Ventnor Botanic Garden, Isle of Wight, see The Garden (Journ. R.H.S.) Vol. 108, p. 157 (1983).
